Werner Wilhelm takes over the
St. Gallen recruitment consultancy named after eastern Switzerland's recruitment consultancy pioneer, Fritz Müller, on 1 January.

Werner Wilhelm founded WW Management Holding, thereby signalling early on that he was thinking in terms of a "global business".

Zurich Executive Selection: WILHELM's reputation reaches Zurich, where the company ultimately settles in the Zunfthaus zur Haue.

Purchase of Uniwerk AG, Zurich, covering the temporary recruitment segment. WILHELM develops into an important global one-stop supplier.

Stefan Wilhelm joins the family business.

Expansion into Swiss-speaking Italy: Luisoni SA in Lugano taken over and positioning on the Zurich–Lugano axis developed.

Purchase of Dr. Max Schnopp AG (DMS). WILHELM thereby complements the Group with a consultancy covering the executive search, assessments, outplacements and HR consulting sectors.

Stefan Wilhelm launches the business in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The "Ländle" branch is based in Vaduz.

Opening of the Basel office covers another major economic centre in Switzerland.

Bern office opened.

Werner Wilhelm hands over day-to-day operations to his son Stefan Wilhelm to concentrate on his mandate as President of the Executive Board.

Purchase of Topwork AG, another Swiss pioneer in the executive search sector, with offices in Zurich and Basel. The takeover strengthens the Wilhelm Group's position as a senior management selection specialist, and it simultaneously becomes a member of the international IMSA network.

The various Wilhelm Group brands are combined under the WILHELM umbrella brand.

Clear positioning in the recruitment sector as a premium brand focussing on executive and expert search. Reorganisation of marketing. Website redesign.

Presidency of the Board of Directors from Werner Wilhelm to Stefan Wilhelm. Operational co-management of the Wilhelm Group by Vital Bigler and Stefan Wilhelm.

Effective 1 January 2023, theAssessment & Outplacement division was spun off into a separate entity. Services are now provided by the newly established AVALES AG, with Mr Andreas Rudolph acting as both shareholder and Managing Director. 

As of 1 October 2023, Wilhelm AG Zürich moved to new offices at Hagenholzstrasse 56 (Business Center Andreaspark) in Zürich‑Oerlikon. 

Celebrating 45 years of excellence. As confirmed by leading market research institute Statista, Wilhelm AG was once again ranked among the top recruitment consultancies in Switzerland.
